What Would Be A Good Choice On Website Creating Software/programs?

I am planning on creating a website. I want it to look professional, but I don’t want it to burn too big of a hole in my wallet. So far I’ve found a few different kinds. They are:
-Joomla 1.5
-Laulyn Toweb
-NVU
-Adobe Dreamweaver
-Multimedia Australia
-Soholaunch
-Drupal 6
I understand not all of these are free, online, or expensive. But are there any that really go the extra mile or stand out? Feel free to suggest a program that isn’t in the above list.

Out of that whole list, Adobe Dreamweaver is bound to be the most reliable, just because it’s Adobe and it’s a brand name a lot of people know they can trust, but I’ve found that Adobe products aren’t always the most user friendly. It may have more features and have the capacity to put out something substantially better, but it doesn’t matter how good it is if you can never figure out how to use it. I have had experiences with their software that made me want to slam my head into a desk, and I can guarantee that you probably have too. I have no experience with it either of them but Multimedia Australia and Joomla seem to be your best bet. Most of the time with software, the ones that you have to buy are the most reliable. Free software isn’t held to the same standards, and it’s also a better idea to get a software that you have to order and comes in a box with a CD, because if a download fails, then you really have nothing to back it up. I’d say if you look any further for software, if it costs between $20-$40 it’d be a good deal.
