I am currently building a website for my company, which im planning to launch in September. But I do not know what program to use. Ive got to spend alot of time getting cash to put into the business anyway, so decided to save some cash and build it myself.
The website is for a Recruitment Agency and will need the following.
4 or 5 Pages of basic information and images.
A Client AND Candidate login
In the login areas, candidates will be able to search for current jobs that are going, download them as DOC or PDF. Clients will be able to view their invoices online, submit any new jobs that are available.
Can anyone recommend a program to tdo this? At the moment I am using Joomla, but im not sure if that will do the trick.

I’m still in high school but I know I’m to try to major in Computer Sciences but it hits me: I have just about no knowledge in programming whatsoever.
The first thing I want to know about is using Java to create a program code. If anything, the Java is what I need the most b/c I figure I can pick up the source code and everything between there as I learn the Java.
Next I wanted to ask if anybody could provide a good tutorial for new Joomla! users. I’m interested in starting up my own business in the future and want to be prepared when the time comes for me to have to set up my own website, intranet, or anything else for the business.
If anyone could just list a few sources that they know of for one (or both) of the subjects, I’d be extremely grateful.

I have been making my own website using Joomla but I have become stuck…
I want to add an online radio to my site but cannot work out how to get a Winamp, Real Media or Windows player/button on the home page.
Has anyone used Joomla who could help?
Would also like to learn more about Joomla and would love to meet anyone who enjoys/uses this program.

Hey Programmer/Designers,
I recently decided on using Joomla! as a OS CMS for my site. It’s going to be basically a social network. If you play some first-person shooters, you probably know about http://esportsea.com. It’s a social network for gamers to attend tournaments and do league based pick-up scrims any day. I want to start something similar and I was hoping for some help.
I was wondering how I could incorporate my design to the CMS. I haven’t ever used Joomla! before, so I don’t know if it’s like WordPress and eCommerce Carts where you edit layout and upload your own images.
I was also wondering if it could make it mandatory to subscribe to register. Can Joomla! do this and make certain pages Group Access only?
So as you can see, I have a few questions and I was wondering if someone could spend some one on one time and help me out. If I like the out come I would even pay. If not, can someone suggest where I should go to hire someone to help me with incorporating my design to a Content Management System on my site?

need some major help, my recent web developer sort of went off to another planet, and now im stuck with a slow site. The server is from gagua.net i believe and for some reason is really slow. I get complaints well not complaints but remarks as to how slow it sometimes is. I frequently get “internal server error” when im browsing the site, or even when im editing through the joomla css editor. is there ANY way to transfer to another server company? or do something to fix this speed issue? thanks for all your support…the site is

I am looking for a good CMS and upon research, I have found Joomla. I have a few questions:
How easy is it to use and install for beginners?
Is it possible to use your own designs (upload your own css)?
Is it flexible enough to allow me to edit the pages myself?
Is it as secure as it claims to be?
