Ok, so I’m only 13, but I would like to start learning to create website, because I’m really interested in that area of work. I know basic HTML, and I know about freewebs.com and stuff like that but I have some questions:
1. How do you make a website, what are the steps?
2. What is joomla?
3. What programs do I need?
4. Is there free verisons of these programs?
5. what is a CMS?
6. Also what is a server?
Please put this in the simplest words you know possible.

I have laptop with Windows Vista. I don’t have any servers and I’m not using any hosting services yet, while my personal webpage isn’t fully created. I wanted to create my website with Joomla! I have read that I should install PHP and Apache at least to use it.
So yesterday I tried to install PHP and Apache newest versions. Well I’ve do it with PHP installer. Also I instaled Joomla! But nothing happened when I clicked index.php in folders.
What’s wrong? I thought it both should work like any other programs, so how can I view my website PHP content, if I don’t know how to use PHP or JOOMLA in view mode?
Please explain me fully how to open view php codes, when I installed php in my pc?
